Freshcut Interiors is an Auckland based interiors and gifts store in New Zealand.

They strive to provide the New Zealand market with high quality and stylish products that would otherwise be difficult for locals to find. I know personally that the interiors market in New Zealand is still growing so it makes me extremely happy to see stores like this making unique and beautiful products accessible to Kiwi's and all around the globe!

They are solely online based, providing their customers all of their Scandinavian style needs from the comfort of their very own home. They supply useful everyday items for the design conscious and people who want something special.

Freshcut Interior's carefully curated range includes products from ; Skandinavisk, Menu, NEO, Loop Design, Mathilda Clahr, SIT-KAco, Alex&Corban, Hanna Konola, Natures Collection, Modern Burlap, Louise Roe, Umemi and Pk Copenhagen!

I chatted to Carly and asked her the five H&W Loves questions.

What inspired you to begin this venture and what has been the biggest surprise?

I have always had a love for renovations and homeware’s but always found the most amazing homeware’s were often overseas and to purchase you would be stuck with huge shipping fees and import fees. After months and months of planning what is now my dream job, Freshcut Interiors bloomed. We work on bringing up to date overseas homeware’s that people in New Zealand can’t often purchase to New Zealand. This gives the option for customers to be able to purchase amazing items closer to home. We are online which we feel gives people that don't always have the time to look around shops the chance to get up to date homeware’s sent straight to their door. We also daily update our Instagram with Inspiration and how products can be styled in customer’s homes.

The biggest surprise would be the amount of time and obstacles you may come into but at the end of the day it is very rewarding getting to do something you love every single day

How would you describe your companies aesthetic/vision?

When carefully selecting products we stock at Freshcut Interiors we choose items which we feel would work in with all Interiors, Items that are functional and Items we feel you can have in your home in years to come and they will still look amazing. At Freshcut Interiors we have a minimal aesthetic and choose items that are in style as well as ones that will last.

Picking a business name is one of the toughest decisions, how did you select yours and what is the meaning behind it?

The "Fresh" from Freshcut Interiors reassembles how we choose products we like to stock items that make your home feel fresh, up to date and in style.

What advice would you give to your younger-self?

If you want something and love doing it, go for it. You are going to have many setbacks and obstacles in things you do but achieving something you have put a lot of hard work and time into can be so rewarding when getting to spend every single day doing something you love.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

It would definitely have to be Europe. As well as being a beautiful place we would love to see more of the homeware’s Europe has to offer.
