Styling: Kirsten Jackson

Campaign styling for Kirsten Jackson.

The aim of this shoot was to highlight the vibrant colours of Kirsten’s artwork while creating a feeling of serenity. We chose to shoot at the Kawa Heart Studio due to the amazing crisp white backdrop and the amount of natural light. Mixing that with rattan furniture and softer elements, we created a dream escape from the everyday!

"I engaged stylist Alex from Harlow + Willow after seeing another project she had worked on and felt their aesthetics were in line. It was clear that colour and playfulness were important to both of them from the start. Four massive paintings were sent from Melbourne all the way to the sunny west coast of Australia to be styled in an all white Californian bungalow, with a flurry of colourful furnishings and accessories, mixed with natural timbers and rattan to create an overall sense of cheerful calm! The final outcome of the shoot was featured on the Interiors Addict blog along with an article written by Alex on styling with art which generated more exposure, as well as the Happy Face painting selling the same day that the styled image was posted on Instagram!" - Kirsten Jackson
